CastleKeep
was formed in 2000 to provide independent and
objective financial and estate planning, investment
analysis and advice, and family office services
to high net worth clients, including those residing
outside of the United States. In addition, CastleKeep
provides financial advice to its clients' operating
companies, including start-up ventures.
Charles
W.K. Haberstroh, President
Charlie
is the President and CEO of the CastleKeep Group. Prior to formation
of CastleKeep in 2000, he was Senior Vice President and Manager of
ABN AMRO Bank's New York Private Banking Unit and member of ABN AMRO's
Latin American Private Banking Management Committee. He was the principal
New York contact for the highest net worth clients.
Before joining ABN AMRO in 1995, Charlie worked in Barclays Private
Bank, UBS Private Bank and Chase Private Bank in senior relationship
and sales management positions in New York, principally handling
Brazilian Private Clients.
Charlie joined Chase in 1973. After successfully completing its
global management training program, he held positions in the auditing
department, the commodity financing department, and most notably,
spent five years at Chase in Brazil as a Managing Director in Corporate
Finance before joining the Chase Private Bank in 1990.
Active in the community, he serves on the Board of Finance of the
Town of Westport, is a member of the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce
and a board member and Past President of the Westport Sunrise Rotary
Club. Charlie is a member of the Brazil American Chamber of Commerce
in New York City and the American Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo,
Brazil. He is a member of the Harvard Club of New York City and the
Harvard Club of Fairfield County. He plays golf for recreation and
is a member of the Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, NC, as well
as the Longshore Men’s Golf Association in Westport.
Charlie graduated from Harvard University in 1973 with an A.B. in
U.S. History. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve from 1971-1977.
He is married with four grown children and lives and works in Westport,
Connecticut, where he moved in 1990.
Marina
Rosenkrantz, Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer
Marina
joined CastleKeep in January 2004 as Vice President responsible for
Client Management. In June 2004, she assumed the duties of Chief
Compliance Officer. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in
January 2008. In her current dual role, Marina oversees all aspects
of Client Services and Compliance and acts as primary liaison to
CastleKeep’s custodians and service providers.
Prior to joining CastleKeep, Marina was a Vice President and Senior
Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank’s Private Banking Unit
in New York where she was responsible for the marketing of products
and services to U.S., European and Asian private clients as well
as for cross-selling efforts within the bank.
Previously, Marina spent four years at DG Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank
(now DZ Bank) as Marketing Representative for German private clients,
and six years at UBS Private Banking in New York as Assistant Investment
Advisor for European private clients.
Prior to joining UBS in 1985, Marina lived in Germany where she
graduated from the Second Polytechnic School in Fuerstenwalde, Germany
with a degree in Business Administration.
Marina is a member of the Financial Women’s Association.
Chuck
Haberstroh, Vice President and Corporate Treasurer
Chuck
joined CastleKeep in 2005 as an Associate in Client Services. During
his tenure he has assumed increased responsibilities on the trade
desk and in back office operations for the company. Today, he is
responsible for Client Services and in this role oversees operations,
transaction settlement and liquidity management in addition to trade
generation. He also serves as Corporate Treasurer.
Chuck graduated from Fairfield University’s Dolan School of
Business in 2004 after attending Lehigh University. He is active
in the Westport community including coaching youth basketball and
has served as an assistant coach for Staples High School Basketball.
He plays basketball and softball in local leagues and plays golf
recreationally.
Steve
Haberstroh, Vice President - Business Development
Steve
joined CastleKeep in February 2008 after spending four years as a
Personal Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
in Boston.
During his first year at Ameriprise, Steve qualified for “First
Year Top Achiever” by finishing in the top 1% of First Year
Advisors.
In 2006, Steve was asked to take on the role of Financial Advisor
Coach as part of Ameriprise’s Leadership Training Program.
In this role, Steve helped train seven advisors to reach their first
year goals and qualified for two Leadership Conferences by ranking
in the Top 10 Advisor Coaches in the company.
Steve holds the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and
Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66) as well as Life
Accident and Health Insurance licenses and earned his CFS (Certified
Fund Specialist) through The Institute of Business & Finance.
Steve graduated from Wake Forest University in 2004 with a B.A. in
Economics. He is an avid golfer and was named to the Connecticut
All-State High School Golf Team in 2000 and was a member of the 1998
CT State Championship Golf Team.
Nancy Perrin, Office Manager & Corporate Secretary
Nancy
joined CastleKeep Investment Advisors in 2006, having previously
managed the office of another investment firm in Westport for seven
years. She is responsible for administering CastleKeep’s office
functions and Corporate Secretary duties.
Nancy has lived in Westport since 1981. She has extensive leadership and community service experience. In the Westport Young
Woman’s League she served as President and held various other executive
positions in the League. She has also volunteered in the Westport schools
and the PTA where she served on the executive board. In addition, Nancy
has served as Treasurer of three political campaigns for two local candidates.
Nancy conducted renal research at Boston University School of Medicine
and co-authored four articles which appeared in the Journal of Clinical
Investigation and Circulation Research.
Nancy graduated from Marietta College with a B.S. degree in Biology and
from Boston University Graduate School of Management with an M.B.A. in Finance.
She is married and has two daughters.
